I have been battling my weight since I was a child. I always had a bad body image and very little knowledge on how to be healthy. Throughout high school I began educating myself but had very little motivation.
I realized I had to do a major change in my lifestyle when I climbed on the scale and discovered I weighed 231 pounds. Both of my parents started losing weight as I gained.
I began trying to change my lifestyle in late January but became depressed, and began eating whatever was near me without thinking.
This summer, I want to be happy and fit. I am documenting my journey to prove to myself I can do it and to hold myself accountable.
